When do installations begin?
Most installations begin in late September and continue throughout October, depending on weather and your preferred reservation date.
How long will my pumpkins last?
Pumpkins are natural materials, and their lifespan depends on weather, sun exposure, irrigation, and wildlife. We carefully source fresh pumpkins and select varieties that perform well in our climate but this is an unknown variable.
What if a pumpkin is damaged?
Because pumpkins are natural products, some variation is expected. If you have concerns shortly after installation, please contact us so we can discuss options. If a pumpkin softens or deteriorates significantly within 14 days of installation under normal conditions, we'll replace it during a nearby scheduled service visit.
Do you install decorations I already own?
Absolutely. Please indicate any existing planters, lanterns, baskets, or décor you'd like us to incorporate and leave them outside on the date of your scheduled installation.
Are any decorations supplied by Onda Desert Living?
Yes. Depending on your home's design, we may incorporate styling elements such as hay bales or other decorative accents to add height, texture, and visual interest. Any reusable items provided by Onda Desert Living remain our property and will be collected during your scheduled end of season pickup.
Do you plant the mums or ornamental grasses?
No. Seasonal botanicals are arranged alongside your display or placed in decorative containers, allowing everything to be removed at the end of the season. It is up to the homeowner to water any botanicals to preserve their freshness and colors.
Do you remove everything?
Yes. Every collection includes end of season pickup of the pumpkins, seasonal botanicals and any reusable display items supplied by Onda Desert Living. If you would rather keep the pumpkins and plants, just let us know when you make your reservation or reach out anytime and let us know.
When does removal happen?
Our goal is for you to enjoy your seasonal display through Thanksgiving. Because pumpkins and botanicals are natural materials, their lifespan can vary. Unless you've requested an earlier pickup, Onda Desert Living will schedule removal of all pumpkins, botanicals, and reusable styling elements we provided during the week following Thanksgiving. If your display needs attention sooner, simply let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.
What happens to the pumpkins afterward?
Whenever possible, pumpkins are donated to local farms and animal sanctuaries or composted through our Pumpkins with Purpose initiative.
What areas do you serve?
Our primary residential service area includes Dove Mountain, Marana, Oro Valley, and the Catalina Foothills. If you're located outside our primary service area, we'd still love to hear from you. Depending on your location, project type, and schedule, we may be able to accommodate installations beyond these areas.
Do you offer Business Event Styling?
Absolutely! We create custom seasonal displays for businesses and special events, thoughtfully designed to welcome guests and celebrate the season. Every commercial project is quoted individually and may be available beyond our primary residential service area. Fill out the Custom Installation Form and we will be in touch.
Do you offer a smaller seasonal display?
